South Tyrol – Dolomites

The Dolomites in South Tyrol and Italy are a unique group of mountains – a fact constantly reaffirmed by generations of mountain pioneers. This is why every year the Dolomites draw so many mountaineers, climbers and hikers from all over the world. Once you’ve gone walking on the Lüsner Alm and seen the breathtaking panorama of the Dolomites you’ll know what they’re talking about.

And South Tyrol itself is such relatively small area so full of diversity: it really is a true pearl. From the peaks of the Dolomites, to the hundreds of peaks in the main ridge of the Alps and Eastern Alps, the numerous springs of fresh water fed by the glaciers, the carefully farmed Alpine meadows like our own Lüsner Hausalm, the fruit and wine production in the valleys around Lake Caldaro, Merano and Tirolo…

We are very lucky to have our own place in the middle of this wonderful region, where we can feel at home and have fun – in our Bergschlössl.
